WHAT IS THE 'MY FIRST BOOK' PROJECT?
This project, carried out with 8 teacher partners from 2 different countries and 7 regions of Turkey, aims to teach students the process of writing books. Our students, who develop their writing skills with artificial intelligence-supported content, will create a library of at least 500 books by writing their own stories. Our little writers, who will also contribute to the popularization of Turkish, will introduce their books and take their first steps on their writing journey.
Book Writing Skills
By learning the stages of the book writing process, students develop their creative thinking, storytelling and writing skills.
Web 2.0 Technology
By learning Web 2.0 technologies, students gain the ability to publish and share the books they write digitally.
The Power of Turkish
Students contribute to the spread of our language by learning to use Turkish correctly and effectively during the book writing process.
Digital Library
Thanks to the digital library of 500 books, children can reach a wide audience of readers on the digital network with their works.
Cultural Interaction
Different countries' contributions allow children to interact with peers from various cultures through the books they write.
Creative Generation
Thanks to this project, children gain self-confidence and a sense of responsibility by contributing to a process from start to finish.

As part of the My First Book project, our students transformed their dream worlds into colorful pages using web 2.0 technologies! Written with love by hundreds of little hearts, these books reflect children’s pure imagination, excitement of discovery and first experiences of writing.
